When Evald Vonk came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the JK Kalamaja Tormajad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evald Vonk couldn't finish the play. Evald Vonk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alo Ojamäe having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Urmas Rajur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alo Ojamäe was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. If Evald Vonk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vaino Muuga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sten Vatsel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaino Muuga in the 39th minute of the match. Sten Vatsel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaino Muuga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vaino Muuga came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the SK Kukhyavere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaino Muuga couldn't finish the play. If Vaino Muuga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vaino Muuga to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes, JK Kalamaja Tormajad's Priidik Annama shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alo Ojamäe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JK Kalamaja Tormajad reached it. Aivar Hõbe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Vatsel having to interfere. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind JK Kalamaja Tormajad's goalkeeper Sten Vatsel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aivar Hõbe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th match minute, SK Kukhyavere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Liivamägi to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, JK Kalamaja Tormajad's Valdur Ylipikk tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in SK Kukhyavere's zone, Urmas Rajur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alo Ojamäe came out of the goal and Urmas Rajur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Vaino Muuga notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of JK Kalamaja Tormajad's Sten Vatsel. Sten Vatsel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 78 minutes into the match, SK Kukhyavere's goal looked a bit too open when Urmas Rajur came free, but Alo Ojamäe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Evald Vonk managed to get in a good position for a shot. JK Kalamaja Tormajad's supporters rose to their feet, but Evald Vonk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alo Ojamäe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urmas Rajur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
