Aivar Karju's late challenge caught a FC Paksu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aivar Karju helped the player get up and apologised. Aivar Karju hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Erik Agu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Sten Vatsel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Paksu's Erik Agu got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Indrek Loik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Indrek Loik was shown his second yellow card after 20 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to FC Paksu getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Indrek Loik hit a great ball. After 23 minutes of play JK Kalamaja Tormajad's Aivar Karju was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 23rd match minute, JK Kalamaja Tormajad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aivar Karju to maneuver through the defense. Erik Agu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sten Vatsel having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Agu in the 31st minute of play forced JK Kalamaja Tormajad's goalkeeper Sten Vatsel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Erik Agu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 34th play minute Ergo Rõõm came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sten Vatsel. 1-0. Valmar Haluriit hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Sten Vatsel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ergo Rõõm in the 40th minute of the match. FC Paksu's Ergo Rõõm got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. JK Kalamaja Tormajad's Sten Vatsel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ergo Rõõm in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evald Vonk to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, FC Paksu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ergo Rõõm to maneuver through the defense. Angelino Luzaide charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelino Luzaide the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oliver Heinola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JK Kalamaja Tormajad. Erki Ristik hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Ergo Rõõm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sten Vatsel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Ergo Rõõm made a precise shot to the right of Sten Vatsel. JK Kalamaja Tormajad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Ergo Rõõm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Vatsel having to interfere. Sten Vatsel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Agu, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
