Ahto Vismanns short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Kerdo Jahe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tõnu Ülavere in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kerdo Jahe saved Kodukula from getting behind. The supporters of Kodukula booed when FC SaateKotte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnold Võsa didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC SaateKotte's Tarmo Uusen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Lember in the 10th minute of play. Ahto Vismann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Kerdo Jahe made a huge save. In the 18th minute, Markus Lember got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Jaak Maasikas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Markus Lember had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC SaateKotte's Tarmo Uusen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimond Veerma in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes FC SaateKotte got a freekick which was hit by Sepo Väljaste. In the 29th minute, one of FC SaateKotte:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC SaateKotte. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Kodukula. Albert Ringo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tarmo Uusen. 0-1. In the 35th minute Raimond Veerma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarmo Uusen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes, Ilmar Anderson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC SaateKotte and the Kodukula players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC SaateKotte getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ilmar Anderson hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute Raimond Veerma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarmo Uusen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In the 63rd minute, Kodukula's Raimond Veerma ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tarmo Uusen. Tarmo Uusen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. When Markus Lember came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Kodukula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Markus Lember couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Markus Lember put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Tarmo Uusen. Raimond Veerma kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot FC SaateKotte's keeper Tarmo Uusen was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Arnold Võsa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerdo Jahe having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Lember in the 82nd minute of play forced FC SaateKotte's goalkeeper Tarmo Uusen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Raimond Veerma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Kodukula booed when FC SaateKotte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sepo Väljaste didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Kodukula supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kodukula would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
