After 9 played minutes, Punikvere's Peedu Uss shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Martti Äss came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Punikvere reached it. The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when Punikvere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Tihane didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Barcelona's Alari Hea couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Punikvere. Bert Olumets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 13 minutes into the game, Punikvere's Raivo Nöps nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martti Äss made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Bert Olumets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martti Äss having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raivo Nöps in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martti Äss saved FC Barcelona from getting behind. Ott Just received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Valdo Virmaline tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunnar Lumiste's late challenge caught a Punikvere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gunnar Lumiste helped the player get up and apologised. Gunnar Lumiste hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Bert Olumets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Martti Äss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Bert Olumets cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Martti Äss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Punikvere getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Peedu Uss hit a great ball. Alari Hea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdo Virmaline read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raivo Nöps to make the kick off. Bert Olumets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Martti Äss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juss Kaplinski's late challenge caught a Punikvere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juss Kaplinski helped the player get up and apologised. Juss Kaplinski hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona's Alari Hea got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Gunnar Lumiste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ott Just in the 68th minute of play forced Punikvere's goalkeeper Valdo Virmaline to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bert Olumets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 played minutes Punikvere got a freekick which was hit by Aron Tihane. Gunnar Lumiste blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdo Virmaline having to make a save. Valdo Virmaline took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ott Just, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Punikvere's Raivo Nöps dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Gunnar Lumiste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdo Virmaline having to interfere. Taniel Oinak was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 94 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Barcelona! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Punikvere had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
