In the 4th minute, Kiur Käps hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Tallinna Lõvid booed when Estonia Raiders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tauno Linnus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estonia Raiders's Samuel Nurk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvin Saabas in the 10th minute of play. Dan Taaber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allar Tara in the 11th minute of play. The long shot by Hannes Luks in the 16th minute really tested Samuel Nurk's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 20th minute Tom Kaalep shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Taaber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Tallinna Lõvid defense, Tom Kaalep kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dan Taaber. The Tallinna Lõvid fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan Taaber should have stopped the shot. If Tarvi Vest had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvin Saabas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Samuel Nurk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Estonia Raiders's Samuel Nurk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Estonia Raiders from getting a goal against them. Alvin Saabas hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Tallinna Lõvid's Dan Taaber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uudo Hint in the 37th minute of play. Tom Kaalep recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvin Saabas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Tom Kaalep had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute Alvin Saabas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Nurk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Saabas in the 63rd minute of play forced Estonia Raiders's goalkeeper Samuel Nurk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 64 in the game by Tom Kaalep from a close distance when the talented Dan Taaber managed to make a qualified save. Tallinna Lõvid's players were relieved. After 66 minutes of play, Estonia Raiders's Tom Kaalep made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dan Taaber was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dan Taaber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Kaalep, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kiur Käps's late challenge caught a Estonia Raiders's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kiur Käps helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, Tallinna Lõvid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiur Käps to maneuver through the defense. When Tarvi Vest came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Estonia Raiders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tarvi Vest couldn't finish the play. After 79 played minutes Tallinna Lõvid got a freekick which was hit by Tarmo Kaljus. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Tom Kaalep put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Dan Taaber. After 96 played minutes Estonia Raiders got a freekick which was hit by Allar Tara. After a defensive mix-up in Estonia Raiders's zone, Gerd Väärsi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Nurk came out of the goal and Gerd Väärsi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Estonia Raiders could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tallinna Lõvid throughout the match.
