Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aimar Harand started the match with the kick off. Volli Harju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bert Murumets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bert Murumets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Kuressaare getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Egert Läänemets hit a great ball. Kuressaare's Eero Taevere proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Kuressaare from getting a goal against them. Egert Läänemets's late challenge caught a Pajvaluse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egert Läänemets helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, one of Kuressaare:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kuressaare. Kuressaare's Bert Murumets got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toomas Aasoja got free with Eero Taevere in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, Kuressaare's Bert Murumets sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Volli Harju narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Kuressaare's zone, Aimar Harand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eero Taevere came out of the goal and Aimar Harand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Volli Harju showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Villem Kuul in the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Pajvaluse got a freekick which was hit by Sepo Nagel. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bert Murumets in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Volli Harju saved Pajvaluse from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bert Murumets stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Pajvaluse getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ingmar Vähi hit a great ball. Villem Kuul blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Volli Harju having to make a save. If Villem Kuul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Kuressaare's goal looked a bit too open when Aimar Harand came free, but Eero Taevere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bert Murumets in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Volli Harju saved Pajvaluse from getting behind. In the 70th minute Bert Murumets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volli Harju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bert Murumets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bert Murumets had several of the Pajvaluse's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Volli Harju as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bert Murumets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Volli Harju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Murumets in the 82nd minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Kuressaare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilmar Härmi to maneuver through the defense. If Sepo Nagel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Aimar Harand came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Pajvaluse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aimar Harand couldn't finish the play. Toomas Aasoja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Eero Taevere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
