Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bert Murumets started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Kuressaare defense, Elmut Kender kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eero Taevere. The Kuressaare fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eero Taevere should have stopped the shot. In the 8th minute Innar Nirk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eero Taevere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pangodi's Valdur Lüdimois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Pangodi from getting a goal against them. Eero Taevere stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Innar Nirk's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After 18 played minutes Pangodi got a freekick which was hit by Silver Pilvistu. Kuressaare's Ilmar Härmi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 19th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Valdur Lüdimois but with some difficulty. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Bert Murumets managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kuressaare's supporters rose to their feet, but Bert Murumets was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdur Lüdimois breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Priidu Harrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdur Lüdimois had great luck who in the 25thth minute grab hold of the ball when Bert Murumets from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The supporters of Kuressaare booed when Pangodi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eedi Teras didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Bernhard Nummert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kuressaare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernhard Nummert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elmut Kender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eero Taevere having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elmut Kender in the 36th minute of play forced Kuressaare's goalkeeper Eero Taevere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Elmut Kender left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pangodi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Pangodi's Valdur Lüdimois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Pangodi from getting a goal against them. Kuressaare's Eero Taevere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Innar Nirk in the 44th minute of play. Eero Taevere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Innar Nirk, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Innar Nirk to make the kick off. Sulev Äss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elmut Kender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eero Taevere having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, Villem Kuul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kuressaare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Villem Kuul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elmut Kender recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sulev Äss fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kuressaare's protests and gave Sulev Äss a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kuressaare getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Sulev Äss hit a great ball. Elmut Kender received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Eero Taevere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kuressaare's Villem Kuul got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valdur Lüdimois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Villem Kuul in the 95th minute of the match. Elmut Kender received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Eero Taevere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pangodi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pangodi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
