August Raasuke made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fc Merivälja's Tauno Eilat. The nice shot from Stefan Fetor in the 18thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Endel Luige had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Kazekyula were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Fc Merivälja's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Johannes Lubi took the corner. In the 22nd minute of the match Fc Merivälja got a corner. Kazekyula's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Agur Asso ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fc Merivälja's Agur Asso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Saul Cordario in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Endel Luige was a little too slow when Stefan Fetor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-0. Saul Cordario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Luiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Fc Merivälja's Liis Normak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saul Cordario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Kazekyula's Johannes Lubi got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artur Vooglaid kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Luiga to make the kick off. Erik Vest sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Stefan Fetor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Fc Merivälja getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Liis Normak hit a great ball. Kazekyula's Erik Vest couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fc Merivälja. Kazekyula's Saul Cordario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Kazekyula from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Fc Merivälja booed when Kazekyula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Lubi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefan Fetor took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Endel Luige. Endel Luige dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Endel Luige took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Fetor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Fc Merivälja defense, Stefan Fetor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Endel Luige. The Fc Merivälja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Endel Luige should have stopped the shot. Endel Luige showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Fetor in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Üllar Saarnak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Kazekyula booed when Fc Merivälja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Luiga didn't get a good kick on the ball.
