A collision led to Ropka Staarid getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Rait Taaler hit a great ball. Ropka Staarid's Endel Lipping got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vallo Kork took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vambola Lillepuu. Ropka Staarid's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vallo Kork placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Jarmo Rist charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarmo Rist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ropka Staarid getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jarmo Rist hit a great ball. When Jarmo Rist came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Ropka Staarid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarmo Rist couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ropka Staarid booed when Chilipepper FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ats Raik didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rein Leinatamm was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Ropka Staarid's goal looked a bit too open when Rein Leinatamm came free, but Vambola Lillepuu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarmo Rist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Vallik having to interfere. Endel Lipping received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Markus Vallik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rein Leinatamm struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Vambola Lillepuu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chilipepper FC. In the 78thth minute of the game Jarmo Rist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chilipepper FC's Markus Vallik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Endel Lipping's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Markus Vallik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Jarmo Rist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Markus Vallik. Chilipepper FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jarmo Rist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Chilipepper FC's Markus Vallik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarmo Rist in the 93rd minute of play. Jarmo Rist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
