Kangrusaare JK's Kevin Põhjala got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elmar Saari in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toomas Vask prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Eiko Aps fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ponni FS's protests and gave Eiko Aps a yellow card for diving instead. Eiko Aps hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Kevin Põhjala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toomas Vask having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Kangrusaare JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalju Niidu to maneuver through the defense. Heino Loide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Harald Vollmer made a huge save. Harald Vollmer made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Eiko Aps sent off a good shot on target. Kevin Põhjala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Toomas Vask tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 30th minute of the match Eiko Aps completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eiko Aps a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Ponni FS's Eiko Aps got a free kick in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ponni FS's zone, Kevin Põhjala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toomas Vask came out of the goal and Kevin Põhjala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pavel Trump kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Maido Ruusmaa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kangrusaare JK's Harald Vollmer didn't even have to move. In the 43rd minute of the match, Heino Loide got a very nice opportunity to score, but Harald Vollmer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 44 played minutes Ponni FS got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Riiga. When Kangrusaare JK's Elmar Saari in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ponni FS's goalie prevented a goal. The Kangrusaare JK fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Kangrusaare JK's Elmar Saari looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Heino Loide stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes in the game, Elmar Saari fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Toomas Vask having to interfere. Ponni FS's Toomas Vask played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmar Saari in the 55th minute of play. Märten Loos's late challenge caught a Ponni FS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Märten Loos helped the player get up and apologised. Märten Loos kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Märten Loos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Toomas Vask. Ponni FS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Ponni FS's Heino Loide sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harald Vollmer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Heino Loide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Harald Vollmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hannes Riiga came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Ponni FS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hannes Riiga couldn't finish the play. Elmar Saari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th match minute, Ponni FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnold Lõhmus to maneuver through the defense. Elmar Saari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Kevin Põhjala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toomas Vask was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Harald Vollmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heino Loide in the 76th minute of play. Kevin Põhjala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toomas Vask having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Elmar Saari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kangrusaare JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elmar Saari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Elmar Saari fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Toomas Vask, passed just outside the right post. Kevin Põhjala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toomas Vask having to interfere.
