The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FS Yyeere's Viktor Tilk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save FS Yyeere from getting a goal against them. FS Eikla's Julius Aabloo got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Viktor Tilk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julius Aabloo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Julius Aabloo managed to get in a good position for a shot. FS Eikla's supporters rose to their feet, but Julius Aabloo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viktor Tilk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th match minute, FS Yyeere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heikko Talts to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FS Yyeere getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ailar Vaarandi hit a great ball. If Julius Aabloo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FS Yyeere fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when FS Yyeere's Maarek Türk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Maarek Türk scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erik Leppnurm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erik Leppnurm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maarek Türk in the 44th minute of play. After the first half FS Yyeere were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maarek Türk was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, FS Eikla's Julius Aabloo got a free kick in the 61st minute. Viktor Tilk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julius Aabloo in the 64th minute of the match. Maarek Türk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Julius Aabloo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viktor Tilk was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in FS Eikla's zone, Leonard Aavakivi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Leppnurm came out of the goal and Leonard Aavakivi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Aavakivi got free with Erik Leppnurm in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erik Leppnurm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Niinemets in the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of FS Yyeere booed when FS Eikla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fridrich Kadarpik didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FS Eikla's zone, Leonard Aavakivi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Leppnurm came out of the goal and Leonard Aavakivi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonard Aavakivi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Leppnurm having to interfere. FS Yyeere's Viktor Tilk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julius Aabloo in the 84th minute of play. Frank Mustasaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute Julius Aabloo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Tilk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taaniel Aavakivi kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Maarek Türk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes FS Eikla got a freekick which was hit by Frank Mustasaar.
