Taniel Vain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 played minutes FC Kaasiku got a freekick which was hit by Jaanus Gustavson. Martin Leht was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hardi Karikas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. A collision led to FC Kaasiku getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Kalle Ringo hit a great ball. FC Salinomme's Erik Lõoke couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Kaasiku. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heiki Hakk got free with Martin Leht in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Heiki Hakk made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 23rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Martin Leht would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. FC Salinomme were furious when Erik Lõoke was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of FC Salinomme:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Kaasiku:s goal. Helmut Valter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heiki Hakk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 36 minutes, Kristo Liiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Salinomme's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristo Liiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Heiki Hakk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Leht. That made the score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play. When Aivo Veeber fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kaasiku's protests and gave Aivo Veeber a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 47 minutes, Helmut Valter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kaasiku's supporters crossed their fingers, but Helmut Valter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Helmut Valter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaljo Kangro having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, FC Salinomme's goal looked a bit too open when Helmut Valter came free, but Kaljo Kangro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Helmut Valter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heiki Hakk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute Helmut Valter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaljo Kangro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Helmut Valter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Kaljo Kangro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 played minutes FC Salinomme got a freekick which was hit by Hardi Karikas. Kaljo Kangro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helmut Valter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Salinomme fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Kaasiku had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
