After a rather tough play, Paatsalu's Jaan Normann got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After having played for 5 minutes, Madis Ehasalu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paatsalu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Madis Ehasalu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the game, Joonas Grauberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kajar Tuulemaa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Alvar Aupaju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Paatsalu's goalkeeper Samuel Haiba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopold Jaanovits. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jakob Gross in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kajar Tuulemaa saved Vahakulmu from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Madis Ehasalu in the 26th minute of play forced Vahakulmu's goalkeeper Kajar Tuulemaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Toomas Vilu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kajar Tuulemaa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Gross, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Alvar Aupaju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Haiba having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Alvar Aupaju managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vahakulmu's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvar Aupaju was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Haiba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Madis Ehasalu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakob Gross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvar Aupaju hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Vahakulmu's Kajar Tuulemaa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Madis Ehasalu in the 43rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopold Jaanovits got free with Samuel Haiba in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jakob Gross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Vahakulmu's Alvar Aupaju got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopold Jaanovits in the 56th minute of play forced Paatsalu's goalkeeper Samuel Haiba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joonas Grauberg hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. A collision led to Paatsalu getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Hardo Varm hit a great ball. Janno Loorens charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Janno Loorens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Toomas Vilu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Haiba having to interfere. Madis Ehasalu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Kajar Tuulemaa made a huge save. Kajar Tuulemaa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Madis Ehasalu in the 80th minute. Kaimo Kottise kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Jakob Gross fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajar Tuulemaa having to interfere. When Kaimo Kottise fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vahakulmu's protests and gave Kaimo Kottise a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Kaimo Kottise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Paatsalu players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
