Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vaela's Kuno Laanelepp started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Üllar Noormägi managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lombi's supporters rose to their feet, but Üllar Noormägi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eino Villand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute, Aigar Vaabel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antti Oksa succeeded in the game's 13th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Kuno Laanelepp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antti Oksa in the 21st minute of play forced Vaela's goalkeeper Eino Villand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Üllar Noormägi struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Eino Villand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Lombi. Eduard Vanaots hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Heiko Reinsalu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vahur Öpik having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Vaela got a freekick which was hit by Aigar Vaabel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Üllar Noormägi in the 44th minute of play forced Vaela's goalkeeper Eino Villand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Vaela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Lombi were winning 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Üllar Noormägi made a kick off. In the 51st minute Üllar Noormägi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eino Villand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th match minute, FC Lombi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergo Juurikas to maneuver through the defense. In the 56thth minute of the game Kuno Laanelepp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Lombi's Vahur Öpik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Heiko Reinsalu struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Vahur Öpik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vaela. When Enn Õunapuu fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Lombi's protests and gave Enn Õunapuu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Lombi's Enn Õunapuu got a free kick in the 58th minute. Vaela's Heiko Reinsalu got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Vaela's goal looked a bit too open when Üllar Noormägi came free, but Eino Villand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Üllar Noormägi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eino Villand having to interfere. FC Lombi's Üllar Noormägi got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 87 played minutes Vaela got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Kaalep. After a defensive mix-up in Vaela's zone, Üllar Noormägi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eino Villand came out of the goal and Üllar Noormägi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ingmar Idu charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ingmar Idu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes Vaela got a freekick which was hit by Ingmar Idu. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Antti Oksa managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lombi's supporters rose to their feet, but Antti Oksa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eino Villand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Lombi played a much better game than Vaela and deserved their victory. The Vaela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
