Adolf Kivimäe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olavi Vähi in the 7th minute. After 7 minutes, Ander Rooba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ala and the Tougu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ander Rooba kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Ala's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Richard Noormägi 9 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 12th minute Kunnar Saamatu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Madis Vinter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ala's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Richard Noormägi scored to the left of an out of position Adolf Kivimäe, making the score, 2-0. Marko Võrk hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Kunnar Saamatu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olavi Vähi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adolf Kivimäe firmly grabbed it by the left post. 33 minutes into the match, Ala's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Noormägi came free, but Adolf Kivimäe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Olavi Vähi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Adolf Kivimäe, passed just outside the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richard Noormägi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Tougu booed when Ala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Kree didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marko Võrk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolf Kivimäe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olavi Vähi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kunnar Saamatu hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Tougu's goalkeeper Madis Vinter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karmo Kruusamäe. Tõnis Allas hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Ala's Kunnar Saamatu got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Helger Lõoke's late challenge caught a Tougu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Helger Lõoke helped the player get up and apologised. Helger Lõoke kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Ala's goal looked a bit too open when Olavi Vähi came free, but Adolf Kivimäe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tõnis Allas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Janari Ojakäär hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tougu had won after a very even match.
