If Kaupo Oder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaupo Koop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vello Velt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaupo Koop in the 22nd minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Metste JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kunnar Rooba to maneuver through the defense. Rasmus Alviste might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vello Velt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rasmus Alviste ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th minute Kaupo Koop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vello Velt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vello Velt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaupo Koop, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Franz Üksvärav hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, SK Rokhukyula's goal looked a bit too open when Valdek Vainamäe came free, but Andres Aavola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdek Vainamäe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Metste JK's Vello Velt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Metste JK from getting a goal against them. Kaupo Koop recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Kaupo Koop dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vello Velt, 1-1. 65 minutes into the game, Marek Kruusamäe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Rokhukyula's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metste JK the free kick. In the 66th minute, Marek Kruusamäe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rasmus Alviste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vello Velt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Vello Velt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaupo Koop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vello Velt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaupo Koop in the 85th minute of the match. Valdek Vainamäe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Andres Aavola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
