Andris Eelmäe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andres Aabloo to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Ekse's Taimar Rohtmäe threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andres Aabloo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 59th minute, one of Kogiste:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kogiste. Helmut Vaalma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Andris Eelmäe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kogiste's Taimar Rohtmäe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Aabloo in the 75th minute of play.
