The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fred Valinu kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. If Ago Õunapuu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andre Taaber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Holger Murumaa's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 21 minutes into the match, FC Tagasma's goal looked a bit too open when Holger Murumaa came free, but Andre Taaber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hanno Üksvärav in the 25th minute of play forced Vyao's goalkeeper Härmo Luks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vyao's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hubert Grossthal was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Tagasma's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to FC Tagasma's Ergo Puusepp getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. August Villem hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Härmo Luks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hanno Üksvärav, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Ago Õunapuu made a precise shot to the right of Andre Taaber. FC Tagasma's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 43 minutes of play, Vyao's Holger Murumaa made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andre Taaber was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ago Õunapuu struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Andre Taaber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vyao. The FC Tagasma players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vyao were winning 0-3.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Hanno Üksvärav in the 57th minute of play forced Vyao's goalkeeper Härmo Luks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Vyao's goal looked a bit too open when Hanno Üksvärav came free, but Härmo Luks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rasmus Mustkivi charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rasmus Mustkivi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard shot by Peeter Aavik from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Andre Taaber's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Holger Murumaa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ago Õunapuu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vyao's Holger Murumaa in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Tagasma's goalie prevented a goal. 94 minutes into the match, Olle Jalakas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Härmo Luks. Vyao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olle Jalakas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vyao had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
