Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vallo Põldaas ran back to his position shaking his head. 6 minutes into the match, Pakhavalla's Vallo Põldaas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Taimar Ainola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Freddy Kivi kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Ilmar Rank had several of the Pakhavalla's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Aivo Roost as he didn't even see the shot coming. 17 minutes into the match, Raa's goal looked a bit too open when Toivo Ööbik came free, but Taimar Ainola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ats Hellenurm got free with Aivo Roost in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the game, Pakhavalla's Heinrich Arro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Taimar Ainola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Vallo Põldaas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taimar Ainola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heinrich Arro, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A collision led to Raa getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Joe Hiiob hit a great ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Vallo Põldaas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pakhavalla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vallo Põldaas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Taimar Ainola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vallo Põldaas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heinrich Arro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 played minutes Raa got a freekick which was hit by Joe Hiiob. If Vallo Põldaas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vallo Põldaas in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taimar Ainola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ilmar Rank stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Freddy Kivi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pakhavalla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raa the free kick. Freddy Kivi hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The supporters of Raa booed when Pakhavalla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Kivi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Helari Pere sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pakhavalla's Aivo Roost didn't even have to move. Pakhavalla's Aivo Roost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ats Hellenurm in the 57th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Raa's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Heinrich Arro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Aivo Roost didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ats Hellenurm went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Raa getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Joe Hiiob hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heinrich Arro in the 92nd minute of play forced Raa's goalkeeper Taimar Ainola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Raa's goal looked a bit too open when Heinrich Arro came free, but Taimar Ainola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
