The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eimar Arulepp during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Guido Õunpuu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kaspar Kaber came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the FS Luige fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaspar Kaber couldn't finish the play. After 16 minutes, Imre Randveer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FS Luige and the FC Pahtpaa players grew even worse after the yellow card. 15 minutes into the game, one of FS Luige:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave FC Pahtpaa a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Martin Aun, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FS Luige's Andro Vahher. 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, FC Pahtpaa's goal looked a bit too open when Kaspar Kaber came free, but Raivo Kants reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Pahtpaa getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Viktor Uuesoo hit a great ball. Raivo Kants took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rando Näkk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ardo Võsa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 38 minutes of play, FC Pahtpaa's Ardo Võsa made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andro Vahher was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ardo Võsa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Rando Näkk took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Raivo Kants to make any attempt to save it. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

FC Pahtpaa's Raivo Kants played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaspar Kaber in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Õunpuu in the 56th minute of play forced FC Pahtpaa's goalkeeper Raivo Kants to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Kaspar Kaber managed to get in a good position for a shot. FS Luige's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaspar Kaber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raivo Kants breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raivo Kants showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Õunpuu in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Kaspar Kaber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raivo Kants saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Pahtpaa's zone, Guido Õunpuu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raivo Kants came out of the goal and Guido Õunpuu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kaspar Kaber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Raivo Kants tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raivo Kants showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Õunpuu in the 79th minute of the match. Jan Viispert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Andro Vahher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ardo Võsa struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Andro Vahher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pahtpaa. FC Pahtpaa's Jan Viispert got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jan Viispert came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the FC Pahtpaa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Viispert couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, FS Luige's Andro Vahher got control of the ball when Ardo Võsa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
