Hans Vilu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Alex Saue skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lennart Vainamäe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Saue having to make a save. If Hans Vilu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Saue made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Hans Vilu sent off a good shot on target. When Harri Laanelepp fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puisma's protests and gave Harri Laanelepp a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute Kris Liib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aivar Öösalu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Asso Pulver might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aivar Öösalu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Asso Pulver ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, Mannamaa's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Vainamäe came free, but Alex Saue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mannamaa getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Asso Videvik hit a great ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mannamaa's goalkeeper Alex Saue, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Egert Oese charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egert Oese the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mannamaa booed when Puisma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egert Oese didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Asso Pulver was the one to do the kick off. Hans Vilu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Saue having to make a save. In the 62nd minute of the match Volli Ülesoo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alex Saue skillfully saved the ball. Lennart Vainamäe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Mannamaa's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Vilu came free, but Alex Saue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kris Liib received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Aivar Öösalu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Asso Pulver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kris Liib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Puisma's Aivar Öösalu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asso Pulver in the 87th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Asso Pulver in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aivar Öösalu saved Puisma from getting behind. 98 minutes into the game, Asso Videvik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mannamaa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puisma the free kick. Asso Videvik kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. After 101 minutes Mannamaa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Margus Maasik who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Margus Maasik almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mannamaa's Alex Saue did a great save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
