Georg Raid started the match with the kick off. After having played for 9 minutes, Georg Raid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FS Sabolda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Georg Raid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SK Pihleni's Eikki Ojavere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Raid in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Taimo Heinola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FS Sabolda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Markko Liivamägi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahti Arumeel having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, SK Pihleni's Roomet Nisu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahti Arumeel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ahti Arumeel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markko Liivamägi, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. SK Pihleni's Eikki Ojavere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taimo Heinola in the 27th minute of play. 0-2 became the score in the 30th minute when Taimo Heinola elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Taimo Heinola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eikki Ojavere. SK Pihleni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Taimo Heinola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Eikki Ojavere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taimo Heinola in the 49th minute of the match.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Taimo Heinola got free with Eikki Ojavere in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 58 played minutes SK Pihleni got a freekick which was hit by Tõnis Artla. In the 63rd minute, Markko Liivamägi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK Pihleni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 67th match minute, SK Pihleni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markko Liivamägi to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Tõnis Artla made a precise shot to the right of Ahti Arumeel. FS Sabolda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. When Tõnis Artla fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Pihleni's protests and gave Tõnis Artla a yellow card for diving instead. Tõnis Artla kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 82nd match minute, SK Pihleni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tõnis Artla to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SK Pihleni's Kalju Lange got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Taimo Heinola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taimo Heinola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FS Sabolda's zone, Roomet Nisu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahti Arumeel came out of the goal and Roomet Nisu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The FS Sabolda players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SK Pihleni from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
