The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Metsakyula SK's Norman Riis in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leikude's goalie prevented a goal. Härmo Oad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norman Riis went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tauno Eerik hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Tõnu Müürsepp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leikude's supporters rose to their feet, but Tõnu Müürsepp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paavo Hallast breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Leikude's zone, Norman Riis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Härmo Oad came out of the goal and Norman Riis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the game, Emil Uhtlik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leikude's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metsakyula SK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Leikude's Emil Uhtlik got a free kick in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Leikude's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Äike came free, but Härmo Oad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Metsakyula SK's Jan Äike sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Härmo Oad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Härmo Oad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norman Riis in the 25th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Leikude's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Äike came free, but Härmo Oad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 played minutes Leikude got a freekick which was hit by Otto Rodin. 40 minutes into the match, Metsakyula SK's Jan Äike sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Härmo Oad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Asko Palts made a kick off. Aivo Leks kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Tõnu Müürsepp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Härmo Oad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norman Riis in the 65th minute of play. Leikude's Tõnu Müürsepp got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paavo Hallast took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asko Palts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Äike received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Härmo Oad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norman Riis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Härmo Oad having to interfere. Paavo Hallast took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tõnu Müürsepp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Asko Palts in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paavo Hallast prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 83 minutes of play, Metsakyula SK's Norman Riis made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Härmo Oad was left in no man's land by his defense there! Norman Riis might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Härmo Oad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norman Riis ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the match, Metsakyula SK's goal looked a bit too open when Asko Palts came free, but Paavo Hallast reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norman Riis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Härmo Oad having to interfere.
