The supporters of Viljandi booed when JK Pihtla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vello Lamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Erkki Kaal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. JK Pihtla's Raul Kilk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Vainsalu in the 6th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Uku Ani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erkki Kaal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19thth minute of the game Raul Vainsalu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JK Pihtla's Raul Kilk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marko Stroom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uku Ani in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Raul Vainsalu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viljandi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Raul Kilk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Vainsalu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eimar Kree kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Uku Ani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the game, Viljandi's Erkki Kaal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raul Kilk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Voldemar Kalle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Raul Kilk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erkki Kaal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Kilk having to interfere. Allar Veerma's late challenge caught a Viljandi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Allar Veerma helped the player get up and apologised. Valter Kasemaa didn't quite understand what happened when in the 48 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raul Vainsalu to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes JK Pihtla's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valter Kasemaa who took care of the corner kick. Valter Kasemaa made a great header on Viljandi's corner, it was just that JK Pihtla's Raul Kilk managed to reach the ball for a save. Raul Vainsalu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Raul Kilk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Erkki Kaal notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of JK Pihtla's Raul Kilk. Raul Kilk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tambet Uuesoo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the game, Erkki Kaal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Raul Kilk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Erkki Kaal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Erkki Kaal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viljandi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Viljandi played a much better game than JK Pihtla and deserved their victory. The JK Pihtla players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
