The audience was convinced that Aare Leesi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Taimo Aulik was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. A collision led to Alatskivi getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ahto Salmistu hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Jaagup Kivimäe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rainer Murelik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arisma's goalkeeper Taimo Aulik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Alatskivi's Rainer Murelik got control of the ball when Väino Liiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Väino Liiva struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Rainer Murelik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arisma. The supporters of Arisma booed when Alatskivi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peep Ainsaar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rainer Murelik was a little too slow when Jaagup Kivimäe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 1-0. The supporters of Alatskivi booed when Arisma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helari Algaja didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Alatskivi's Sulev Mustakivi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aare Leesi made a kick off. Alatskivi's Arvi Truupõld got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Arisma's Jaagup Kivimäe in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alatskivi's goalie prevented a goal. Rainer Murelik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Väino Liiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 played minutes Arisma got a freekick which was hit by Rauno Näksi. Aare Leesi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taimo Aulik having to interfere. Eino Värk kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Sulev Mustakivi in the 71st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Taimo Aulik's left hand side. If Aare Leesi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Jaagup Kivimäe made a precise shot to the right of Rainer Murelik. Alatskivi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Jaagup Kivimäe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rainer Murelik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Väino Liiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Priidik Saluste hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Rainer Murelik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Väino Liiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Väino Liiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arisma were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Alatskivi for a fine match.
