Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joe Rebas made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the game, Kalev Laasik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JK Tirimetsa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Merapalu the free kick. After 4 played minutes JK Tirimetsa got a freekick which was hit by Kalev Laasik. Aksel Aruväli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uuno Raudsepp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Väino Nõu having to interfere. After 13 played minutes JK Tirimetsa got a freekick which was hit by Kalev Laasik. Rene Teraväe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norman Villand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Rebas in the 22nd minute of the match. Aksel Aruväli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Väino Nõu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rene Teraväe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norman Villand having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, FC Merapalu's goal looked a bit too open when Joe Rebas came free, but Norman Villand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aksel Aruväli in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Väino Nõu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 46 minutes into the match, JK Tirimetsa's goal looked a bit too open when Uuno Raudsepp came free, but Väino Nõu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Teraväe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norman Villand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uuno Raudsepp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Uuno Raudsepp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Merapalu's zone, Joe Rebas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norman Villand came out of the goal and Joe Rebas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute, Joe Rebas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norman Villand was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 81st minute, Arthur Sõnajalg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, JK Tirimetsa's goal looked a bit too open when Aksel Aruväli came free, but Väino Nõu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The tension between the JK Tirimetsa and the FC Merapalu players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC Merapalu's Aksel Aruväli got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Väino Nõu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aksel Aruväli in the 93rd minute of the match. After 97 played minutes JK Tirimetsa got a freekick which was hit by Kuldar Arus. Väino Nõu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Moorits in the 99th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see FC Merapalu lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
