Munsi's Uku Uusen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urmas Kurg in the 4th minute of play. Timo Vananurk hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 10 played minutes Virukyula got a freekick which was hit by Alari Volberg. With his leg Kaido Lehismets managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Munsi's Timo Vananurk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kaido Lehismets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hardi Blum in the 23rd minute of play. Urmas Kurg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uku Uusen having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Einar Neemoja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Alan Varma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alan Varma in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uku Uusen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute, Virukyula's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Timo Vananurk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hardi Blum stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Munsi's Kuno Aalja got a free kick in the 51st minute. Urmas Kurg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Uku Uusen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uku Uusen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alan Varma in the 66th minute. Alan Varma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uku Uusen having to interfere. The Virukyula supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Virukyula would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
