Steve Võrk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Palatu. With a left leg Steve Võrk saved Liyvakyula from getting behind. 37 minutes into the game, Gustav Vaikma lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Priidik Maidsaar. Steve Võrk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peedu Kaldalu in the 45th minute of play. If Peedu Kaldalu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Priidik Maidsaar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Vaikma in the 52nd minute of play. Gustav Vaikma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Liyvakyula booed when SK Palatu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Rehepap didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gustav Vaikma came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Liyvakyula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustav Vaikma couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Gustav Vaikma made a precise shot to the right of Priidik Maidsaar. SK Palatu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 90th minute of the match Indrek Rea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Priidik Maidsaar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gustav Vaikma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Priidik Maidsaar having to interfere. Rene Smutov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Steve Võrk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Liyvakyula had won after a very even match.
