The crowd rose to their feet as Lohkuse's Alex Koha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arthur Veetamm. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. 12 minutes into the match, Rauno Kübar notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Lohkuse's Erki Rillo. Erki Rillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Valdma during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erki Rillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toomas Villand in the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, JK Somevere's Egon Tali got a free kick in the 29th minute. Arthur Veetamm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joonas Tüür in the 31st minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, JK Somevere's goal looked a bit too open when Joonas Tüür came free, but Arthur Veetamm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joonas Tüür was the one to do the kick off. Rauno Kübar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erki Rillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of JK Somevere:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lohkuse:s goal. Bernhard Aaslo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Rauno Kübar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Toomas Villand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Erki Rillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toomas Villand in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erki Rillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rauno Kübar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erki Rillo having to interfere. Tauno Puusepp got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Joonas Tüür fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Veetamm having to interfere. If Aivar Hanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benno Villand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Arthur Veetamm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erki Rillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toomas Villand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The JK Somevere players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
