The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Allar Nurk during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Kyazukonna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allar Nurk to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute of the match Heino Karikas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tambet Neppi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 7 minutes Kyazukonna's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Heino Karikas who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Toomas Villand got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 7 minutes into the match. Tambet Neppi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toomas Villand in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Rauno Kübar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JK Somevere's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rauno Kübar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Toomas Villand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tambet Neppi having to interfere. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kyazukonna's goalkeeper Tambet Neppi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Ronald Räim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arthur Veetamm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronald Räim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, JK Somevere's Arthur Veetamm got control of the ball when Aivar Raidmets tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Kyazukonna's goal looked a bit too open when Olavi Müürsepp came free, but Tambet Neppi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored JK Somevere's protests and gave Olavi Müürsepp a yellow card for diving instead. Aivar Raidmets in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arthur Veetamm, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After the first half JK Somevere were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

JK Somevere's Arthur Veetamm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aivar Raidmets in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute Ronald Räim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Veetamm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kyazukonna's Ats Remmelgas got a free kick in the 69th minute. The audience was convinced that Rauno Kübar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tambet Neppi was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Tambet Neppi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toomas Villand, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The JK Somevere supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing JK Somevere would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
