Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kalju Üle got the match started through his kick off. Eiko Idu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Madis Kevad having to interfere. In the 6th match minute, Varkali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heikki Viil to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Tõnis Lekk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Madis Kevad was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Laiuse's zone, Eiko Idu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Madis Kevad came out of the goal and Eiko Idu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Madis Kevad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tõnis Lekk in the 20th minute of play. Ago Lagle kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Madis Kevad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tõnis Lekk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arne Kalm was a little too slow when Kalju Üle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. Kalju Üle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asso Ansip struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Arne Kalm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laiuse. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tõnis Lekk made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Toivo Lehtmäe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laiuse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toivo Lehtmäe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th match minute, Laiuse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asso Ansip to maneuver through the defense. If Kalju Üle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Asso Ansip came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Laiuse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asso Ansip couldn't finish the play. Arne Kalm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asso Ansip, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 69 played minutes Varkali got a freekick which was hit by Heikki Viil. Asso Ansip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 82 minutes, Asso Ansip managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laiuse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asso Ansip was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 86 minutes of play, Varkali's Heikki Viil made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Madis Kevad was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fridrich Lipmeister during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 played minutes Varkali got a freekick which was hit by Fridrich Lipmeister. Kalju Üle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Kalm having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
