The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arne Kalm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taniel Jõgis in the 4th minute of play. Heikki Viil kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Kezu SK's Erkki Aavik tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Varkali's Kaupo Vabadus threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tõnis Lekk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 19th minute Roland Juurikas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Kalm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eiko Idu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Kaupo Vabadus made a huge save. If Roland Juurikas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 minutes, Taniel Jõgis made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Varkali's Arne Kalm tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eiko Idu struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Kaupo Vabadus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varkali.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tõnis Lekk to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Varkali's Eiko Idu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kaupo Vabadus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Kaur Normak kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Kezu SK's goal looked a bit too open when Eiko Idu came free, but Kaupo Vabadus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Konrad Kurg kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Eiko Idu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Kaupo Vabadus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arne Kalm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taniel Jõgis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arne Kalm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taniel Jõgis in the 80th minute of play. Roland Juurikas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 81st playminute. Kaido Rohi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Arne Kalm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eiko Idu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
