Erik Maasar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Elar Aavasalu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olari Kurk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Maasar having to interfere. Norman Kanne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elar Aavasalu in the 22nd minute of the match. Aapo Mäe charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aapo Mäe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rahtla booed when FC Avasalu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aapo Mäe didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Martin Valgma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the game, Rahtla's Martin Valgma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Norman Kanne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The audience was convinced that Olari Kurk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erik Maasar was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Olari Kurk took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Erik Maasar to make any attempt to save it. Olari Kurk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aapo Mäe got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, FC Avasalu's Aapo Mäe got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The FC Avasalu supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Avasalu would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
