Vohmassaare's Urmas Ruuda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmar Roo in the 5th minute of play. After 8 minutes, Hardi Veski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vohmassaare and the Vikhula players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vikhula booed when Vohmassaare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hardi Veski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urmas Ruuda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helari Karu in the 13th minute of the match. When Vikhula's Elmar Roo in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vohmassaare's goalie prevented a goal. In the 16th match minute, Vohmassaare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvar Mustpea to maneuver through the defense. After 23 played minutes Vohmassaare got a freekick which was hit by Keijo Raidla. When Joe Kaasma fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vohmassaare's protests and gave Joe Kaasma a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vohmassaare getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Joe Kaasma hit a great ball. In the 36th minute of the match Kaijo Kask sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Urmas Ruuda skillfully saved the ball. Alvin Truupõld made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Keijo Raidla sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, Vikhula's goalkeeper Alvin Truupõld had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Keijo Raidla. The Vohmassaare players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vikhula were winning 0-1.
The wind increased when Osvald Viin made the kick off in the second half. Osvald Viin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Vikhula's goal looked a bit too open when Keijo Raidla came free, but Alvin Truupõld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Osvald Viin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vikhula's Alvin Truupõld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvald Viin in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vikhula's zone, Keijo Raidla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvin Truupõld came out of the goal and Keijo Raidla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvin Truupõld stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvald Viin's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vikhula's goalkeeper Alvin Truupõld, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Taniel Luige hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Vohmassaare's Alvar Mustpea couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vikhula. The Vohmassaare manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Vikhula to win.
