If Alex Lehepuu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17th play minutes Antti Idu shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Sten Lõoke and just under the crossbar into goal. 20 minutes into the match, JK Surekyrve's goalkeeper Ernst Kloren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emil Annuk. Emil Annuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ernst Kloren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eldur Bauman came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Palukula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eldur Bauman couldn't finish the play. Ernst Kloren was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hugo Koidu. 36 minutes into the match, JK Surekyrve's Antti Idu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sten Lõoke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Palukula's Sten Lõoke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antti Idu in the 37th minute of play. Mihkel Kurk kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Timmo Otsus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sten Lõoke showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 45th minute, Antti Idu made a precise shot to the right of Sten Lõoke. Palukula's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Lehepuu to make the kick off. JK Surekyrve's Ernst Kloren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Annuk in the 51st minute of play. In the 57th minute Eldur Bauman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernst Kloren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eldur Bauman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Emil Annuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernst Kloren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Annuk in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Alex Lehepuu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Lõoke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernst Kloren came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Palukula's Eldur Bauman. But to his dismay, Eldur Bauman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Emil Annuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eldur Bauman in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernst Kloren saved JK Surekyrve from getting behind. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
