Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aivo Randmaa got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Aavo Karuauk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arvi Noobel was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. 7 minutes into the game, Olari Kivisild was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soosaare's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matja SK the free kick. A collision led to Soosaare getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Olari Kivisild hit a great ball. Erkki Joa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rando Kaldmaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aivo Randmaa in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arvi Noobel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Matja SK's Tambet Emapoeg got a free kick in the 15th minute. Matja SK's Arvi Noobel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aivo Randmaa in the 16th minute of play. Rando Kaldmaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Aivo Randmaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rando Kaldmaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erkki Joa having to interfere. Kristjan Lipmeister kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Antti Kurk was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Aivo Randmaa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Soosaare's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Aavo Karuauk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tambet Emapoeg hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The supporters of Matja SK booed when Soosaare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aavo Karuauk didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rando Kaldmaa was the one to do the kick off. Rando Kaldmaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erkki Joa having to interfere. Erkki Joa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilmar Alas in the 56th minute of play. Kaljo Lattu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Antti Kurk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erkki Joa. Soosaare's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Soosaare's Kristjan Lipmeister got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute of the match, Rando Kaldmaa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erkki Joa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Arvi Noobel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aivo Randmaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The supporters of Soosaare booed when Matja SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Uuesoo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aavo Karuauk in the 70th minute of play forced Matja SK's goalkeeper Arvi Noobel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arvi Noobel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aivo Randmaa in the 72nd minute of play. After 76 played minutes Soosaare got a freekick which was hit by Otto Leemet. Ilmar Alas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Rando Kaldmaa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erkki Joa. That made the score 0-2 in the 86 minute of play. In the 94th minute Aivo Randmaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvi Noobel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilmar Alass short, quick shot in the 99thth minute got Erkki Joa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
