Kullamae's Kris Leis got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Kris Leis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kullamae's supporters rose to their feet, but Kris Leis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Meelis Intel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arto Raamets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rein Kalam having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Kajar Ida got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Kajar Ida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Meelis Intel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Laikula getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Eino Rank hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match, Kajar Ida tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Meelis Intel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tambet Peet during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Laikula getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Tambet Peet hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Laikula's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kris Leis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 29th minute Arto Raamets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rein Kalam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Laikula's Lembit Viil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rein Kalam made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Meelis Intel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kaspar Vooro. Arto Raamets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rein Kalam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lembit Viil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 61 played minutes Kullamae got a freekick which was hit by Ardo Müürisepp. Arto Raamets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
