Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FC Mandjala's Henry Lausmäe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valdur Uibomäe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villu Parve having to interfere. Villu Parve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Lausmäe in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, FS Vaskyala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaanus Oksa to maneuver through the defense. Volli Nurmsalu kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Mandjala's zone, Franz Väärsi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivo Vahi came out of the goal and Franz Väärsi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivo Vahi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rauno Laik in the 18th minute of play. Franz Väärsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ivo Vahi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivo Vahi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 22nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Lausmäe in the 37th minute of play forced FS Vaskyala's goalkeeper Villu Parve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ärni Nõmm during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Mandjala booed when FS Vaskyala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ärni Nõmm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franz Väärsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ivo Vahi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FS Vaskyala's Villu Parve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdur Uibomäe in the 44th minute of play. Henry Lausmäe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rauno Laik to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Franz Väärsi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FS Vaskyala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franz Väärsi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivo Vahi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rauno Laik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Volli Nurmsalu hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Ivo Vahi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rauno Laik's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Franz Väärsi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rauno Laik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Mandjala getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Volli Nurmsalu hit a great ball. Björn Link, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 73 minutes of play, FS Vaskyala's Franz Väärsi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivo Vahi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the FC Mandjala defense, Rauno Laik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivo Vahi. The FC Mandjala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivo Vahi should have stopped the shot. Villu Parve made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdur Uibomäe in the 81st minute. If Henry Lausmäe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rauno Laik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivo Vahi having to make a save. Villu Parve made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Valdur Uibomäe sent off a good shot on target. If Franz Väärsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FS Vaskyala had played much better football throughout.
