The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jaagup Vaiknemets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Härmo Pregel didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After having played for 18 minutes, Uno Elken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FS Kardla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uno Elken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Einar Tajur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvin Vent in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Myniste's goal looked a bit too open when Jaagup Vaiknemets came free, but Härmo Pregel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Enno Vaalma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Tajur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Uno Elken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jaagup Vaiknemets managed to get in a good position for a shot. The supporters of FS Kardla booed when Myniste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubert Valdmets didn't get a good kick on the ball. FS Kardla's Einar Tajur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save FS Kardla from getting a goal against them. If Jaagup Vaiknemets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes Myniste got a freekick which was hit by Jan Nõmmsalu. 92 minutes into the match, FS Kardla's goal looked a bit too open when Edvin Vent came free, but Einar Tajur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Myniste's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
