Idavere's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jüri Vellemäe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 8 played minutes Idavere got a freekick which was hit by Taaniel Nahkur. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jüri Vellemäe in the 12th minute of play forced Idavere's goalkeeper Julius Linnus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th match minute, Idavere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaak Pärt to maneuver through the defense. Endel Loide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuido Hütt having to interfere. Simo Õmblus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Julius Linnus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julius Linnus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Kruus in the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Idavere's Lauri Vanaliin got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Idavere's goal looked a bit too open when Jüri Vellemäe came free, but Julius Linnus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 played minutes Idavere got a freekick which was hit by Lauri Vanaliin. Jüri Vellemäe might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julius Linnus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jüri Vellemäe ran back to his position shaking his head. Endel Loide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Kuido Hütt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lauri Alla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kuido Hütt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Simo Õmblus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Lyanga booed when Idavere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermo Hindpere didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Endel Loide was the one to do the kick off. When Endel Loide came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Idavere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Endel Loide couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute, Simo Õmblus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 58 minutes, Lauri Alla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Idavere's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lauri Alla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Endel Loide managed to get in a good position for a shot. Idavere's supporters rose to their feet, but Endel Loide was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kuido Hütt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kuido Hütt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Endel Loide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Lyanga's Simo Õmblus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julius Linnus. That made the score 0-3 after 72 minutes of play. The supporters of Lyanga booed when Idavere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauri Vanaliin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Idavere's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Simo Õmblus scored to the left of an out of position Julius Linnus, making the score, 0-4. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lyanga's goalkeeper Kuido Hütt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Endel Loide in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kuido Hütt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Idavere getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Taaniel Nahkur hit a great ball. Simo Õmblus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Lyanga supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lyanga would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
