Tundu's Mati Russak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Heinla in the 4th minute of play. Emil Heinla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mati Russak having to make a save. Mati Russak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Heinla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Emil Heinla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kajar Koha's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Üllar Riiga firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 16th minute, Aivar Nooska ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mati Russak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Kajar Koha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Elmut Bragin fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tundu's protests and gave Elmut Bragin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Elmut Bragin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emil Heinla might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mati Russak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emil Heinla ran back to his position shaking his head. Emil Heinla struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Mati Russak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pilsner. FC Pilsner's Üllar Riiga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save FC Pilsner from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Tundu getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Aksel Viksi hit a great ball. Mati Russak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aivar Nooska, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aksel Viksi charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aksel Viksi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, Tundu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aksel Viksi to maneuver through the defense. Mati Russak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Heinla in the 39th minute of the match. Kajar Koha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Üllar Riiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Elmut Bragin made the kick off in the second half. Aivar Nooska's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Kris Ülesoo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mati Russak. Tundu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Emil Heinla managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pilsner's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Heinla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mati Russak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mati Russak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Heinla in the 65th minute of play. When Hanno Aloel fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tundu's protests and gave Hanno Aloel a yellow card for diving instead. Mati Russak was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kris Ülesoo. If Kajar Koha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mati Russak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Heinla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Tundu's Aksel Viksi got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Aivar Nooska sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 played minutes Tundu got a freekick which was hit by Aksel Viksi. In the 79th match minute, Tundu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kajar Koha to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Emil Heinla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mati Russak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Emil Heinla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Tundu's Mati Russak got control of the ball when Aivar Nooska tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emil Heinla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Mati Russak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tundu's Mati Russak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Tundu from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute, Emil Heinla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aivar Nooska fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mati Russak having to interfere.
