If Vello Asi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Okhepalo SK defense, Ivo Vari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rauno Kallas. The Okhepalo SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rauno Kallas should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Okhepalo SK getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Üllar Voormansik hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Okhepalo SK's goal looked a bit too open when Viljar Lant came free, but Rauno Kallas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rauno Kallas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viljar Lant went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ronald Redi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vello Asi in the 38th minute of play. Okhepalo SK's Rauno Kallas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Vari in the 40th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vello Asi made a kick off. Ivo Vari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rauno Kallas made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Eldur Vanakool sent off a good shot on target. Villem Nuume took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronald Redi. Ronald Redi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 62nd minute, Ivo Vari reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rauno Kallas. The goal made the score 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kazimierz Kicia during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Okhepalo SK's Rauno Kallas got control of the ball when Eldur Vanakool tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eldur Vanakool could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Rauno Kallas made a huge save. If Ivo Vari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
