A wasted opportunity for SK Meedla. Edgar Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Tom Varblane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Roomet Kalamees in the 18th minute really tested Tom Varblane's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 22nd minute of the match Martti Lessel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kalvi Veiler skillfully saved the ball. Andres Arulepp hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Martti Lessel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kalvi Veiler. Hirmuste's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, SK Meedla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martti Lessel to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Heiki Niidumaa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tom Varblane was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 42 played minutes SK Meedla got a freekick which was hit by Martti Lessel. Norman Rajamäe was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Lind got free with Tom Varblane in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Janar Kink to make the kick off. Elmut Viilup ran back to his position shaking his head. After 67 played minutes Hirmuste got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Lind. Kalvi Veiler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janar Kink in the 76th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Hirmuste got a freekick which was hit by Eino Koemets. Elmut Viilup recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Hirmuste's goal looked a bit too open when Janar Kink came free, but Kalvi Veiler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tom Varblane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heiki Niidumaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
