Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ivari Rahumets got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, Viktor Õismaa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kahtla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viktor Õismaa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timo Rätsep fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volli Äike having to interfere. If Viktor Õismaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Kahtla's Timo Rätsep got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Timo Rätsep took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Volli Äike. Volli Äike dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Timo Rätsep fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volli Äike having to interfere. Viktor Õismaa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Sven Anderson put in a rough tackle. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Kahtla! Arno Kaalikas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lembit Lehtmets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivari Rahumets in the 49th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
In the 53rd minute, Arno Kaalikas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Raivo Paju fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kahtla's protests and gave Raivo Paju a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Paisuotsa a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Heiko Ojaste, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Kahtla's Lembit Lehtmets. 2-1. A collision led to FC Kahtla getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ronald Saar hit a great ball. FC Kahtla's Lembit Lehtmets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivari Rahumets in the 64th minute of play. If Ronald Saar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paisuotsa's Volli Äike played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Saar in the 70th minute of play. Volli Äike made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viktor Õismaa in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Arno Kaalikas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronald Saar kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. When Karmo Palk fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paisuotsa's protests and gave Karmo Palk a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute of the match Tambet Kadarpik shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Volli Äike showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Paisuotsa's Arno Kaalikas in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Kahtla's goalie prevented a goal. Viktor Õismaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arno Kaalikas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lembit Lehtmets having to interfere. If Ivari Rahumets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 played minutes FC Kahtla got a freekick which was hit by Tiit Pulver. In the 94th minute, Arno Kaalikas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronald Saar charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronald Saar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC Kahtla's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
