The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lembit Tajur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Andro Saar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaido Uusnurm struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Andreas Taimre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alaveski. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Ago Lipmeister managed to get in a good position for a shot. FS Okhepalu's supporters rose to their feet, but Ago Lipmeister was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tõnn Sõõrumaa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of FS Okhepalu booed when Alaveski was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalvi Pottsepp didn't get a good kick on the ball. FS Okhepalu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martti Raun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Andro Saar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Alaveski's Kalvi Pottsepp got a free kick in the 69th minute. Lembit Tajur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Taimre having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alaveski had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
