Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Linnuse's Martin Ida started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ott Lell made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Raimo Lõpp sent off a good shot on target. Kassilaane's Ott Lell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Kassilaane from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the match, Kassilaane's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Ida came free, but Ott Lell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Otto Neemoja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Raimo Lõpp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Kassilaane's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Martin Ida fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Lembitu Martsepp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kassilaane's supporters rose to their feet, but Lembitu Martsepp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Janno Väärsi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ott Lell made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Raimo Lõpp sent off a good shot on target. Raimo Lõpp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ott Lell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Raimo Lõpp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Linnuse booed when Kassilaane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Argo Mänd didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Argo Mänd was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kassilaane's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Linnuse the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Ida in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ott Lell saved Kassilaane from getting behind. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lembitu Martsepp made a kick off. Janno Väärsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lembitu Martsepp in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Linnuse's zone, Otto Neemoja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Janno Väärsi came out of the goal and Otto Neemoja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 57 played minutes Linnuse got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Kivimäe. Janno Väärsi was a little too slow when Lembitu Martsepp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-1. In the 66th minute Raimo Lõpp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ott Lell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Raimo Lõpp came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Linnuse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimo Lõpp couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otto Neemoja got free with Janno Väärsi in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ilmar Gustavson kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Otto Neemoja came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Kassilaane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otto Neemoja couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, Otto Neemoja notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Linnuse's Janno Väärsi. Janno Väärsi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute Lembitu Martsepp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janno Väärsi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otto Neemoja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janno Väärsi having to interfere. The Kassilaane supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kassilaane would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
