Eduard Nurm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vello Ise in the 14th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Kaku's Alex Normak seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alex Normak the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kaku protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alex Normak had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Kaku:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Madala:s goal. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Madala. Dan Järv stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rudolf Villand. 0-1. Gerd Alasoo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Eduard Nurm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudolf Villand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Priit Valdmets, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Gerd Alasoo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Enno Naaber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Kaku's goal looked a bit too open when Andro Eelmets came free, but Rudolf Villand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Madala were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Priit Valdmets was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Priit Valdmets who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kaku's Rudolf Villand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rudolf Villand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragnar Hommuk in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Andro Eelmets managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madala's supporters rose to their feet, but Andro Eelmets was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudolf Villand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gerd Alasoo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Priit Valdmets got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Kaku booed when Madala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Lesta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Gerd Alasoo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduard Nurm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerd Alasoo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Rudolf Villand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madala. 95 minutes into the game, Gerd Alasoo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Eduard Nurm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
