Orava's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lapetukme the free kick. After a rather tough play, Orava's Kaido Hellenurm got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute of the match Juhan Luik sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivar Kubja skillfully saved the ball. If Arnold Voltri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Valdur Voolaid in the 14th minute really tested Virgo Roo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 14th minute Madis Liiva suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Leonard Kirsimäe fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lapetukme's protests and gave Leonard Kirsimäe a yellow card for diving instead. Leonard Kirsimäe hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Arnold Voltri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orava's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnold Voltri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Lapetukme's goalkeeper Virgo Roo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnold Voltri. Pavel Viitkar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Kubja having to interfere. Arnold Voltri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Pavel Viitkar sped through Orava's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivar Kubja. Virgo Roo made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Arnold Voltri sent off a good shot on target. Arnold Voltri struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Virgo Roo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orava. After the first half Lapetukme were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivo Kaar was the one to do the kick off. Ivo Kaar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Kubja having to interfere. Arnold Voltri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Orava's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Kirsimäe came free, but Ivar Kubja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 62 minutes, Ivo Kaar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lapetukme's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivo Kaar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnold Voltri scored 1-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgo Roo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivar Kubja made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Pavel Viitkar sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute, Ivo Kaar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivo Kaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 85 minutes into the match, Pavel Viitkar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivar Kubja. Orava's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pavel Viitkar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Lapetukme's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
