Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Avere's Veiko Järve started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute of the game, Gerd Vool landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Ilmar Urvet fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pyarnu's protests and gave Ilmar Urvet a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Avere booed when Pyarnu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilmar Urvet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vahur Toompere made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Paavo Talts sent off a good shot on target. In the 20thth minute of the game Veiko Järve who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pyarnu's Arno Pervik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vahur Toompere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erki Kikas, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Veiko Järve recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 minutes, Paavo Talts made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Avere's Vahur Toompere tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Karl Truupõld came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Avere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl Truupõld couldn't finish the play. Timmo Püss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arno Pervik having to interfere. Ain Täppe hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Veikko Härm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
After a rather tough play, Avere's Timmo Püss got a free kick in the 55th minute. Arno Pervik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veiko Järve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paavo Talts in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vahur Toompere saved Avere from getting behind. Veiko Järve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Avere booed when Pyarnu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erki Kikas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Veiko Järve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Arno Pervik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jann Ruut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Avere's Veiko Järve got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Veiko Järve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paavo Talts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vahur Toompere having to interfere. Vahur Toompere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jann Ruut in the 88th minute of the match. Vahur Toompere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paavo Talts in the 90th minute of play. Pyarnu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Avere for a fine match.
