Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 4 played minutes Obja got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Laanelepp. Andris Põder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Heiko Ess scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnold Helemäe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute Tanel Kravik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Voldemar Virve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Endel Väärsi in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Voldemar Virve, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 17 minutes, Tanel Kravik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heiko Ess might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnold Helemäe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heiko Ess ran back to his position shaking his head.

The supporters of Vikhtsi booed when Obja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rein Aavola didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Valdur Varblane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Obja's goalkeeper Arnold Helemäe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd match minute, Vikhtsi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalju Haugas to maneuver through the defense.
